The Philadelphia Chapter of the American Marketing Association (PAMA)
was established in December of 1931 by 27 marketing pioneers and was
one of the first 100 chapters now affiliated with the American Marketing
Association.
Over the past few years, PAMA and its members have played key roles
in the functions of the national organizations and six of its members
have served as president of the parent organization.
PAMA is committed to
bringing members together with key thought leaders in various marketing
disciplines and industries. Membership in PAMA has grown steadily over the years. From 130
members at the end of World War II, to over 700 members today, PAMA's roster includes student, emeritus and professional memberships - representing a diverse array of businesses,
industries, government and professional organizations.
PAMA’s mission is to be THE professional
association that area marketers look to as their place for marketing
thought leadership, skills enhancement, best practices, and networking. PAMA strives to be that ONE invaluable resource for assuring their career
growth, ongoing development and excellence.
